The fourth quarter of 2022 saw interesting trends among the top air travel apps in Nigeria, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top five apps on a unified platform.

Air Peace experienced a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting from 1K in late September and peaking at approximately 1.7K by the end of November. The app maintained a consistent download rate, with a slight uptick to around 1.5K in the last week of December.

Travelstart: Flights & Hotels showed notable growth in weekly downloads, beginning at 456 and reaching a significant high of 2.9K in the final week of December. The app's weekly active users also increased steadily, starting from 2.2K in late September and peaking at 4.3K in the last week of December.

Ethiopian Airlines had a stable performance in weekly downloads, averaging around 900 downloads per week throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users saw a slight increase, beginning at 3.3K and ending the quarter with approximately 3.5K active users.

Qatar Airways showed a consistent download rate, with numbers fluctuating between 761 and 1.1K per week. The app's active users saw a steady rise, starting at 4.3K in late September and reaching nearly 4.8K by the end of November, before stabilizing at around 4.7K in December.

Wakanow: Flights, Hotels, Cars maintained a consistent weekly download rate, starting at 714 and peaking at 902 in mid-December. The app also saw a steady increase in weekly active users, beginning at 5.7K and reaching a high of 6.5K in early December.
